Around 10.06am Monday, the unnamed woman repeatedly shouted as she took off her pants, leaving only her underwear and shoes on at gate G12 at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport.
Video footage taken by a bystander showed confused and disturbed flyers waiting to board their flights as she turned toward them and yelled with her bare breast exposed.
It is unclear exactly which airline she was flying with, but a bright yellow Spirit Airlines aircraft was seen in the background of the now-viral clip.
The irate woman soon turned to a man she appeared to be traveling with as he tried to pass her clothing to cover herself up.
An officer with the Broward Sheriff's Office then stepped in as people yelled and looked at her in shock.
The woman eventually put her clothing back on as she continued to complain, though it is hard to understand what exactly she said.
A spokesperson with the Broward County Sheriff's Office told DailyMail.com 'deputies responded to a call regarding a disoriented female near Terminal 4 inside the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.'
After the bizarre incident, she was taken to receive medical treatment and was not arrested, according to investigators.
DailyMail.com contacted Spirit Airlines for comment about the incident.
The recent outrageous airport event sparked a frenzy of comments online, as some made a joke out of it and others expressed concern for her wellbeing.
'It's her first trip as the pilot. She's excited, like staying up all night waiting for Santa, except she took her clothes off at the airport. Cut her some slack,' one said.
'In flight entertainer started early,' wrote another.
A commenter said: 'It was just hot. That Florida humidity is a motherf***er.'
Another person wrote: 'We have a mental health crisis in this country.'
'Reopen State Mental Hospitals,' a user posted.
This seems to have become the new normal for airports across the country as another deranged woman was seen strutting around completely naked at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport on March 14.
Clutching a plastic water bottle, the unidentified naked woman was seen shouting erratically at no one in particular before proclaiming: 'I speak all languages!'
Her behavior escalated rapidly as she began hurling water into the air and striding across the concourse.
Despite her increasingly erratic actions, there appeared to be no visible sign of law enforcement or airport security whatsoever as she began running around.
At one point in her rampage she launched a cellphone at a series of overhead airport monitors in an apparent attempt to break them.
Although a well-built man was seen coming up to her asking the woman to stop, she simply tossed water at him.
'Go away! Stop!' he pleaded while speaking on the phone recounting what was happening, presumably to airport security.
With no restraint in sight, she then snatched another bottle from a nearby café counter, cracked it open, and began dousing the floor in wild arcs of water before launching into a manic dance in the puddle she created.
A female staff member cautiously approached with a coat in hand, hoping to preserve some shred of modesty, but instead of calming the situation, it triggered an even more explosive reaction from the woman.
She continued to swear, should and cause more mayhem before cursing at those around her.
The woman charged at a row of wall-mounted airport screens, flinging her cellphone at them one by one until the damage forced them to shut down.
Despite the wild scene, many travelers simply looked on - or looked away.
Some continued scrolling on their phones while others could be seen visibly checking her out.
As the woman shrieked and sprinted down the terminal concourse and out of frame, it remains unclear if, or when, any authorities ever stepped in.
There were no restraints or arrests in sight - and no official statement from airport authorities.
In early March a Southwest flight was forced to return to its gate after a female passenger ran naked up and down the aisle for 25 minutes.
The moment came during a flight from Houston's William P. Hobby Airport to Phoenix when the woman stripped naked in front of stunned passengers.
Footage taken by Beast Games contestant Macy Estevez, and first shared by ABC13, showed the woman, who has not been named, bare her breasts as she gyrated before the cabin of the Boeing 737.
Estevez reportedly said she continued parading on board for nearly half an hour before authorities stepped in and detained her.
The Houston Police Department took the woman away for medical evaluations, however the department did not say if it would be bringing charges.
