Teacher reports six-year-old pupil to POLICE for 'touching her inappropriately' and 'stalking' her in classroom

A teacher reported a six-year-old pupil to police for 'touching her inappropriately' and 'stalking' her in the classroom.

The art teacher at the primary school in Loutraki, Greece, claimed the child had made a drawing and 'touched her' while showing it to her.

The teacher initially reported the incident to the school's head teacher.

But although the principal had attempted to reassure her and handle the matter without involving authorities, the teacher filed a police complaint two days later at a local station.

The police recorded the incident and approached the child's parents for further information regarding the teacher's allegations.

They then immediately filed a report with the Primary Education Department of Corinthia - one of the largest education organisations in Greece.

The service decided to carry out an Interdisciplinary Educational Evaluation (EDE) following the report and the teacher is set to be temporarily removed from the school.

She will be transferred to a different primary school in Loutraki while the investigation continues.

Director of Primary Education of Corinth, Dimitris Drimeris, told local media: 'She was teaching a lesson in the classroom (first grade) and a child, after making his drawing, went to the teacher to show it to her and touched her to tell her'.

It comes after a teacher in Indiana allegedly left high-potency weed gummies out in her classroom before her schoolkids mistook them for candy.

Debra McGillem, 49, is accused of leaving THC edibles 'out in the open' before two of her students accidentally consumed the drug on Thursday, police said.

A school resource deputy at Angola High School discovered that the two students mistakenly ate the gummies, sparking a drug investigation.

Detectives found that 'the two students involved were in class at the time of the incident and were unaware that the candy they ate contained THC,' according to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities added that after the THC edibles were found inside the classroom, more gummies containing marijuana were then 'located in Ms McGillem's possession.'

When Ms McGillem was hauled into the Sheriff's department for questioning, deputies said they suspected she was impaired when she drove to the interrogation.

Ms McGillem was booked into the Steuben County Jail on charges including child neglect and possession of a controlled substance on school property following her interview.

The high school teacher also faces two misdemeanors for driving while intoxicated.
