Authorities are still searching for answers in the hunt for a missing Utah woman, as they say her phone has become inactive.
Emily Wolfe, 34, was last seen on March 31 in northern San Juan County in Utah, and cops say she may have been headed to the Highland Utah area. She was in a 2020 Can-Am gray Defender side-by-side, with Utah license plate D30HP.
The San Juan County Sheriff's Office said in a social media update that Wolfe had recently told people about a job opportunity in Alaska, and had also said she wanted to go to North Carolina.
Two weeks into the search for Wolfe, the sheriff's office said Monday that 'her cell phone is no longer active or turned on.'
She is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, around 120lbs, with brown eyes and brown hair with blonde highlights.
Identifying marks include a script tattoo on her right forearm and her left wrist, and a tattoo map of Vietnam on one of her ankles.
Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Emily Wolfe is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 435-587-2237.
The search from Utah authorities comes as the state is also handling a horrific discovery in Bingham City.
This week a railroad crew conducting a routine cleanup discovered human remains in a black plastic bag that had been dumped alongside the tracks.
Police have not yet identified the victim, but confirmed the body was that of a woman dressed in black leggings and a black hoodie, with long reddish-brown hair with a hair tie.
A 'distinct' heart-shaped tattoo on her left bicep is now central to the investigation, as officials work to determine her identity.
