Matty Fryatt pulled a goal back for Hull City with a spectacular strike but Robin van Persie, on for Wilson, finished things off with his first goal since February.
United travel to Southampton on Sunday whilst Hull City round off their season at home to Everton.

TALKING POINT: End of the road for Giggs? The 40-year-old delivered an emotional speech at the end of what could be his last home match. He was almost in tears but gave nothing away about his future.
KEY STATS
Wilson is the first player to score on his PL debut for Man United since Nick Powell on 15 September 2012 (4-0 win vs Wigan Athletic). He becomes the fourth youngest player to score a Premier League goal for United. He also becomes only the second player to score twice on his PL debut for Man United. The other was Ruud van Nistelrooy in the 3-2 home win against Fulham on 19 August 2001.
Fellani recorded his first assist of the season.
Fryatt scored only his second PL goal for Hull. The other was in the 6-0 home win against Fulham on 28 December 2013. Hull have lost the six PL matches Fryatt has played in since that match.
Van Persie scored his first PL goal at Old Trafford since the 2-2 draw against Fulham on 9 February. Man United are unbeaten in all 16 previous PL home matches van Persie has scored in (W14-D2).
The Red Devils have now won their last seven league matches against Hull City .
Hull City have still never kept a clean sheet in a league match away at Manchester United, conceding 33 goals in their 11 trips.
MAN OF THE MATCH
James Wilson (Manchester United): Giggs raised eyebrows with his daring selection of two young up-and-comers, but Wilson repaid the faith shown in him with two sharp reaction strikes. The only dampener was Giggs hauling denying him a chance of a hat-trick by replacing him with Van Persie for the final half hour.
