LIVERPOOL'S LUIS SUAREZ WINS PFA PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD

Liverpool’s Luis Suarez didn’t score on the pitch yesterday, but he took away a major haul in the evening when he was named PFA Player of the Year.
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard finished second, with Manchester City’s Yaya Toure coming in third.
Suarez is the just the second Liverpool player to snag the honor in the past 25 years, after Steven Gerrard took home the trophy in 2006.  Liverpool had four winners between 1980 and 1988: Terry McDermott, Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush and John Barnes.
Liverpool also had the Women’s Player of the Year (Lucy Bronze) and Women’s Young Player of the Year (Martha Harris), in addition to Gerrard and Sturridge earning a spot on the Team of the Year.
